The rate of processes on such ion exchangers is by of one to two order of magnitude higher, than on the granular ion exchangers, used in the water purification, where the application of highly dis-persed resins is impossible because of a high resistance of the filtering bed for liquids or gases flow (Fig.3).

depends on the density of filling, which is determined by the textile
form or additional thickening.
For processes of air purification optimum of the layers density is 0.1 kg/dm3, and thickness of the layer - 3 - 10 mm. In respirators the optimum thickness is 3 mm.
